Cafe is short of staff at this time so menu super limited (see pic). Would not stop here for lunch if you can help it. Muffins are decent. However the shop next to the cafe has interesting quality souvenirs and staff is super helpful.
Probably the best place to get a good coffee near Mt Cook (rather than going to Hermitage for coffee). Tasty hot cross bun.
Beautiful view.
Service was a little slow but I think it’s because a few people arrived at the same time.
We were originally going to eat at Mt Cook, but we hadn't checked that it was available. Turns out that morning there was a function. Oh well. We turned around and went back to Glen tanner where we'd stayed the night. The Tasman Delta Cafe was on site, with brekkie getting started. We ordered a big breakfast and it was... big, hearty and filling. It gave us the sustenance for the climbing we'd be doing that day. Being on the road, the Tasman Delta Cafe gave us an option where we'd otherwise be hungry that day.
