We came from Singapore for our road trip and found this gem of a place after staying the night at Whakapapa Holiday Park. Coffee is really great can be paired with equally great cakes/muffins. Come down to support Amy and enjoy the beautiful scenery while you are having your cup of joe!

Nestled in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Amy Jades coffee shop is a delightful little spot that's perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely coffee break. I recently stopped by while on a hike in the area, and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the coffee. The shop itself is cozy and welcoming, with plenty of comfortable seating options. I loved the rustic decor and the relaxed atmosphere, which made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in the premises But of course, the real star of the show are the cakes and coffee. I ordered a flat white and a cakes, and both were absolutely delicious. The coffee was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness, while the cakes were fresh, filling, and bursting with Amy Jades was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. She was happy to chat with me about the local area and provide recommendations for other things to do and see in the park. Overall, I would highly recommend Amy Jades coffee shop to anyone visiting Tongariro National Park. And with such a warm and friendly atmosphere, you'll feel like part of the family in no time.
