Would definitely come back here. The place felt really authentic. We got given complimentary miso soup, great miso. Nice staff, good service. Sushi was good but being fussy - not spectacular.

Stopped by Nelson for one night. Found Masa's by chance and decided to give it a go. We loved the ambience and service was pleasant. We had the two sets - sushi/sashimi and the other with a main. We enjoyed our food thoroughly and price was reasonable. If we were locals, we would definitely go back!

Masao and Yuko, ARIGATO for consistently fantastic service, fantastic food and lovely, beautiful energy. By far the best restaurant in Nelson.
We'll be coming back for as long as you are there.
