Wow Golden takeaways is the best fast food place in Palmerston, I mean any 2 burgers for $5 that's just a crazy deal, its like the only place I can get full for $5 and maybe Pak n save but if I feel like a burger that's my go to place, and then there's the drop fried morro bars ohhhhhhhhhhh they're just to good, I mean can you get better food I think gts is the most underrated fast food shop here.
The chips are really yummy, and the service is quite good. I have been in there at 3am and the people at the front are always friendly and polite, even though they have to deal with drunken louts a lot of the time.

I am a fan of this place. $5 chicken fried rice can full me up the whole day. It is pretty cheap and they give you a lot.
Service is awesome. The owner treat you with smile all the time.
The taste is not bad but prob not the best.
overall, this is prob the best value meal in Palmerston North.
