The food was really yummy I got the kiwi special fish & chips the fish was perfectly cooked not overcooked the batter was thin and crispy not thick and oily the chips were drained and not greasy they were crisp and light to the bite they were not seasoned which I thought was a really good idea as some places over season their food they added a couple of salt sachets and a tomato sauce as well 5/5 best ever will definitely be back 10/10

The Groper is my favourite Fish & Chip shop in Stratford. A nice clean shop, friendly staff and delicious food. The gurnard burgers are amazing!! 😋

4.5 stars. Very nice and good value for money. It’s a shame the burger bun wasn’t toasted otherwise I’d have given it 5 stars. Friendly efficient staff, and the shop is clean and well laid out. Good variety of fish, sides, and drinks. Deserts on offer were a bonus.
