We all enjoyed our dining experience here tonight and we were completely impressed with the customer service. Our waiter was polite, prompt, and even memorised all six of our orders. Didn't have to wait any longer than what would be expected. The food was fairly priced and there were no complaints, if anything, a little bit of cream with the sticky date pudding would have gone down nicely. We left satisfied and would quite happily recommend the Fox & Hound to others. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
This was a cosy and friendly establishment with an eclectic variety of dishes and cuisines!
The pork sausages of the bangers and mash were a hit with a great snap, dense flavoursome interior, a thick gravy and a huge pile of mash. The seafood chowder was surprisingly good; rich, creamy and with lots of seafood, it's a perfect winter warmer. The burger was simple but well made and the cheese was melted which is something that I always look for! I'd prefer my pattie undercooked slightly but understand that establishments probably don't want to take that risk. The chips were crisp and very good.
The pork belly had a fantastic, sweet and sticky hoisin glaze. I would have liked that with a bit more chilli. The meat underneath was soft and fell apart but the top was unfortunately not crispy.

Came here on a cold Thursday night.
Nice warm Lamb Shank to warm up the stomache (apologies about the photo... I seriously attacked it before I remembered to photograph it).
Lamb Shanks come in 2 varieties and the serving here is of the bigger size... What I would refer to as a Lamb Knuckle.
The meat was well cooked, served on a bed of mash with a sprinkling of veges plus a killer gravy.
Service was excellent and friendly and not too long a wait for the food.
All in all a meal worth returning for and a very well earned 5 stars. Well done!!
