Delicious homemade pizza, fresh pasta and great service! It’s a busy little place and I can see why.
Unfortunately we didn’t get to try their gelato because we were too full. I really enjoyed the home style flavour, fresh ingredients and generous portion size, just wish they serve some bread with their pasta dishes.
Loved this non-pretentious pizzeria in Te Anau!
We were greeted by this lady who I supposed was the owner. Other service staff were also friendly. Although it was a busy dinner time, everyone never ceased to serve with smile.
We ordered Hawaiian pizza, which was delicious. We appreciated generous serving of toppings like hams and pineapple. The base was not crusty nor doughy, just right amount of thickness.
To complete the dinner, we ordered chocolate fondant, as recommended by the owner. It was fabulous! We could have two servings if we were not so full.
Impressive for the efficiency and professionalism of all the staff. It was peak time, packed full of tourists but they had everyone seated, fed and watered in no time. The bruschetta was amazing, light and garlicy, fresh tomatoes with an added salty crunch of capers. Cute Italian car and scooter out the front to add that authentic feel, as well as an aperol spritz for a sunny afternoon.
The salami pizza was so good we ordered another to take back to our hotel to eat while watching the sunset over the lake.
