We've been to Paper Mulberry several times and highly recommend stopping here. The staff are brilliant, food tasty and different and the coffee is great. It's a lovely old building with an eclectic assortment of tables and chairs, and it was very relaxing to sit in the garden on a fine sunny day this week with the beautiful daffodils blooming. There is also a range of handcrafts available for purchase, always worth a browse, you never know what you'll find.
It's easy to whizz past the old church building on SH2, but it is well worth slowing down and making sure to stop here. There's excellent coffee along with a good range of cafe food. The staff are smiling, cheery and helpful.
Sitting outside in the garden is an absolute delight on a sunny day, although inside has plenty of seats too. There's some funky decor, along with a small range of local arts and crafts items to purchase, but the main reason for stopping is the coffee and food, which is way above the quality of the bakery shops which counts for choice in Y'puk.
Superb coffee and great atmosphere. Really good women running it. Good music and lovely, historic building. Highly recommend.
