Well worth the stop off on the way back to Auckland, friendly service and delicious food.. we had a big breakfast (smashed potatoes were superb and bacon crispy, I reckon a nice relish would have gone well with it) and an eggs bene, and the kids had pancakes with Berry’s and mascarpone generous in size, coffee was delicious too

Stopped over for lunch on the way to Auckland from our Bay of islands trip, great food and atmosphere, reasonably priced menu.

Stop here while on a road trip. The food looked good in the cabinet. I went with pork sausage roll which was the right choice and the staff were really good. I like the decor of the cafe. I'll be back here again when I'm next in Waipu
