Great service and seatings. The Korean pancake was wonderful as a dessert. It is chewy with rich fillings, but not too sweet. Although the size was very small but would like to try agin
Saw the great reviews on Google + Zomato, so I decided to visit Mr Go’s and try out their Asian fusion dishes.
***** Green Beans $11 *****
Green beans were flavoured well, I could taste the spice coming from the chilli 🌶 sauce.
🐓 General Tso’s Chicken $16 🐓
This is one of Mr Go’s monthly region dishes for February 2020. I felt that the garlic and ginger sauce was a bit too over-powering. It did not help that the chicken pieces had too much skin in proportion to the meat itself.
🐟 Fish Gua Bao $13 🐟
I really loved ❤️ this dish a lot. The milk bun and market fish was soft and easy to eat. The flavours had a good balance of spicy and mild flavours from the mayo, salsa verde, and dukkah seasoning.
***** Ambiance + Final Words *****
Appreciated the friendly service, the waiter was prompt and also made sure that I was looked after. He asked for my feedback about the food, which is always a good sign. 👍
If you are looking for a lively vibe with neat variety of artwork, then I would recommend this place for social gatherings or if you are visiting the CBD. I certainly will be back to sample the Chicken Gua Bao and Indian Fried Chicken dishes. 🙃
Blown away by all of the dishes my friend and I indulged in here. Mushroom wontons were particularly moreish, swimming in a fabulous sauce with perfect translucent wrappers. Their prawn toast was a feast for the eyes and palette. Mr. Go's is a casual restaurant punching above its weight in the flavour department. We came here on a recommendation, and I'm pleased to say it was the highlight of our Wellington food adventures.
