Love the cakes here!
The cakes are moist, tasty, not too sweet and lovely.
Taro cakes and cookies & cream cakes that I got are halal as well. They decorate it on the spot and they do it fast, neatly and beautifully as well.
Cake Slices and pies are also available, with some breads, pastries, macarons, rolls and more.
The matcha and taro tiger rolls are also available and I really love them all.
They also sell bubble tea, hot drinks and some hot food like shio mai and dumplings. Some of them have pork filling.
Parking can be tricky as we don’t really have paid street parking in the area. Paid parking area is available nearby.
The shop entrance is disability friendly and accessible although inside is a bit cramped.
They have chairs and tables inside as well as outside, although not too many.
Most of the places calling themselves bakeries in Wellington are cafes, not bakeries.
This one is a bakery. They sell all types of baked goods, very high quality. I'd like to see more pastries and flaky crust type stuff, but it's not their specialty, as they have a distinctly Asian (Chinese?) style. But still very good.
Go here if you need to get baked foods.
My partner and I went there today and got the mini pork steamed buns, a custard bun, hazelnut coffee cake, almond pasty biscuits and a stunning orange cake pop and everything tasted delicious. The baker whom I suspect was the owner was absolutely lovely. Will definitely be returning
